Product and Power Properties of Exponents

The product and power properties. In MathBound, the free Algebra I adventure game, Balloon Bundler asks these problems, and the only way past is to solve them.

Part of Exponents and Exponential Functions: chapter 7 of the standard course.

10 questions, no sign-up, nothing saved. Climbs from the basics to harder questions.

What you will practice

  • Product Property. Simplify expressions using the Product Property of Exponents by adding exponents of the same base.
  • Power Property. Simplify expressions using the Power Property of Exponents by multiplying exponents.
  • Product to a Power Property. Simplify expressions by distributing an exponent to a product of variables.
  • Combine Properties. Simplify complex expressions by applying the Power Property and then the Product Property sequentially.
  • Multiply Monomials. Multiply two basic monomials involving one variable.
